Operation Mommy Initiation: Complete
Just now I leaned in to give my boy a kiss on his sweet little mouth and he projectile vomited for the first time. It was in my mouth, it was on my mouth, it was all over everything. I think he was laughing on the inside.

Oh boy. The first time that Ethan changed Dermot's diaper in the hospital, Dermot peed on him.
I also remember Dermot spitting up while I was holding him above me and it getting in my mouth. Yuck. The things that we parents suffer. And the funniest part is that it really isn't that gross once you experience it yourself, but if you hear about it it's gross and if it were someone else's kid doing it to you, it would be really gross. Welcome to mommyhood!

HA! I got spit up in my mouth too. It's all part of the master plan - they wear you down so they can build you back up again. CONGRATS!
